If receipts aren't printing from the receipt printer it may be caused by the printer being disconnected from the till, to resolve this:
Check that the USB cable is connected properly to both the receipt printer and till, to do this, first check the bottom of the receipt printer to see if the cable is plugged in, the USB cable is highlighted here:
There may be a plastic cover on the receipt printer, this is only held on by magnets and can be simply pulled off.
Once you have checked that it is firmly plugged into the receipt printer, follow the USB cable to where it plugs into either the back of the till at the bottom of the stand or into the hub next to the till (depending on the till type).
Once you have confirmed the USB cable is connected to both ends and the receipt printer has power restart both the printer and the till to see if it reconnects. If not please contact the Datascan Support Team.
