The receipt printer may stop printing if there is an issue with the paper roll such as: The lid of the receipt printer is open, The receipt printer is out of paper or The receipt roll has fallen inside the printer and it can no longer feed.
The resolution for all 3 of these is the same. Firstly, if the printer is out of paper the lid should pop open and if the lid is open or the roll has fallen inside the light on the right-hand side of the printer above the buttons will be flashing yellow:
To resolve this, open the lid fully and take out the receipt roll. Next make sure there are no loose bits of paper inside the printer and place the roll back in according to the picture at the back of the inside:
Once the roll is in place, pull on the roll until a few inches of paper extends over the front of the printer like this:
Finally, close the lid and press and hold the feed button on the right-hand side for several seconds to make sure the paper comes out:
