If the receipt printer has no light on the right-hand side above to open lid button it is likely to be off/unplugged.
Firstly check the power button which is underneath the printer:
There may be a plastic lid covering this but the lid is only held on by magnets and can be pulled off.
If the power button is on but the printer is still off check the power cable is plugged in firmly, the power cable is highlighted here:
If it is plugged in, check the kettle lead is plugged firmly into the power block. To do this follow the power cable from the printer until you reach the power block that will look similar to this and the kettle lead is highlighted:
Once that has been checked if there is still no power check where the kettle lead plugs into either a wall socket or extension lead to make sure it's not loose. If it's not try changing the socket it's plugged into to see if it then gets power. If all of the above doesn't work please contact the Datascan Support Team.
